Plastic pollution is a problem. BioAmmo’s 12 Gauge ammunition is the solution! This case of upland game hunting shotshells hasn’t got a single molecule of plastic to its name – and it’s all thanks to the miracle of bioplastic.
Bioplastic is a special plant based material. It is extremely similar to plastic with one important exception: Biopolymer is degradable. Because it is made out of plants such as corn, biopolymer is edible to microscopic bacteria and fungi. The breakdown isn’t immediate, but in about two years you can expect this ammo’s wads and tubes to have been completely converted into salt, carbon dioxide and water (and naturally more bacteria and fungi as well).
This shell is loaded with very small #9 lead shot pellets. They’re ideal for hunting the smallest game, as they’re large enough to kill without shredding a trophy to ribbons. Such hard shot patterns efficiently, especially since this shell’s vented biopolymer wad detaches so cleanly from the shot column following expulsion. The wad even features a collapsible base to reduce perceived recoil!
BioAmmo shotshells are safe to store in normal climactic conditions for a minimum of five years.
