Details
BioAmmo takes a unique approach to environmentally-friendly duck hunting. Not only is this 12 Gauge shell’s shot made of nontoxic steel – it is also 100 percent plastic-free!
BioAmmo’s hull and wad are both made of biopolymer, which itself is made out of vegetable material. Although still strong enough to perform reliably in any shotgun, biopolymer is fully compostable. Whether this shell’s hull and wad fall on the ground or in the water, microorganisms are eventually going to turn them into carbon dioxide and mineral salts. Even these shells’ alloy heads will eventually oxidize until they have disappeared, and their boxes are compostable as well. No pollution required!
This shell’s #4 steel shot boasts the concentricity and uniformity of size that it needs to establish a dense pattern. Its pattern efficiency becomes even better courtesy of its wad’s wide side vents, which cause petals to open up immediately following expulsion from the muzzle.
BioAmmo shotshells are safe to store in normal climactic conditions for a minimum of five years.
