Details
No one likes leaving behind a bunch of litter in the beautiful places ducks call home. That’s what makes BioAmmo’s 12 Gauge shotshells so special – they contain zero plastic, and they have no long-term effect on the environment!
BioAmmo invented a unique vegetable based biopolymer, and they use it to make these duck hunting shells’ hulls and wads. Because this material is primarily made out of corn starch, it will disappear within two years as bacteria, algae and other microscopic organisms eat it all up. These shells’ hulls and wads will eventually turn into nontoxic salt and carbon dioxide even if they land in the water, so you can rest assured you’re doing your part for the planet.
This shell’s #4 shot is made of steel, which is just as nontoxic as its non-plastic components. BioAmmo didn’t focus all of their energy on developing biopolymer, either. Each shell is loaded with round and consistently sized shot, and its wad is designed to promote a denser pattern as it erects petals immediately following expulsion.
BioAmmo shotshells are safe to store in normal climactic conditions for a minimum of five years.
