A lot of people are surprised to learn that Wolf, which is famous for their economical steel-cased ammunition, makes shotshells as well. We believe their 12 Gauge ammunition ought to be no secret. It works great for high-volume target shooting!
Wolf’s Target Sport shotgun shell carries a target shooter’s standard 1-1/8 ounce load of #7.5 shot. The 0.095” diameter pellets do a great job obliterating discs at the trap and sporting clays range, and Wolf’s hard lead retains each pellet’s sphericity so the column can pattern nice and efficiently. Although this particular ammo is branded for target shooting, we don’t doubt for a second that it would really do a number on dove, rabbit and squirrel.
Wolf loads their all-purpose 12 Gauge shell with the clean-burning powder it needs to establish a 1,280 fps velocity out of the muzzle. That’s just enough pepper to give you an advantage with a shorter lead time on a moving target, but it’s not so powerful that it’ll knock you on your keister. Wolf’s shotgun primers are non-corrosive, and their hard plastic hulls ought to pass reliably through any make and model 12 Gauge shotgun.
