Trap ain’t gonna shoot itself! You need a whole case of 12 Gauge ammo to really get into the swing of things, and for that Wolf has you covered. The Russian company’s Target Sport loads are optimized for taking cracks at clay pigeons, but it wouldn’t underserve you if you were setting out in search of flesh-and-blood birds, too.
This shell is topped off with 1-1/8 ounces of shot, which is the heaviest shot column most amateur sporting associations would let you have for competitive purposes. Wolf’s #8 lead shot pellets are stiffened by added antimony, so they’re at less risk of flattening out during ignition. The aerodynamic pellets are patterned evenly by Wolf’s plastic wad – add the right choke to the equation, and clays won’t stand a chance!
These shells have strong plastic tubes, which are made even more resilient thanks to their brass-plated steel heads. Wolf only loads non-corrosive primers, which work in conjunction with their fast-burning powder to minimize residue buildup.
