The Russian company’s Target Sport loads are optimized for taking cracks at clay pigeons, but it wouldn’t underserve you if you were setting out in search of flesh-and-blood birds, too.

This shell is topped off with 1-1/8 ounces of shot, which is the heaviest shot column most amateur sporting associations would let you have for competitive purposes. Wolf’s #8 lead shot pellets are stiffened by added antimony, so they’re at less risk of flattening out during ignition. The aerodynamic pellets are patterned evenly by Wolf’s plastic wad – add the right choke to the equation, and clays won’t stand a chance!

These shells have strong plastic tubes, which are made even more resilient thanks to their brass-plated steel heads. Wolf only loads non-corrosive primers, which work in conjunction with their fast-burning powder to minimize residue buildup.
