Your business with deer will never end. If you’ve got a well-oiled piece of 20 Gauge machinery and an appointment somewhere deep in the woods, Aguila has got you covered with this #2 buckshot shotgun ammo!
#2 buckshot is not as popular as 00 buck (probably because it’s virtually unused for law enforcement and military applications). A #2 buck pellet is 0.06” smaller in diameter and only weighs 55 percent as much as a 00 buck pellet. Its smaller size means that a 2-3/4” shell can hold 14 pellets instead of the usual 8 or 9. In other words, this shell is going sink more holes into its target with the same amount of aim.
Because a #2 buck pellet hits with relatively less force, it’s less likely to pass through a threat to your safety or multiple layers of sheet rock. But this shell is hardly low-powered. Its single ounce of shot and 1,220 fps muzzle velocity will generate more recoil energy than your standard clay shooting shell, and all together its shot column should strike a close-range target with well over 1,000 ft lbs of energy. Made by Aguila, the Mexican Armed Forces’ chief ammo supplier!
