We’ve only offered two types of Canadian-made ammunition in recent years. The first is WWII surplus 303 British, which is becoming increasingly scarce nowadays. The second is Challenger’s fine target shells, which are made in a state-of-the-art factory in Saint Justine de Newton, Quebec!
These 20 Gauge shotshells are a great way to deplete any trap range’s reserve of clay pigeons. Challenger casts each round’s #7.5 shot pellets out of rigid lead, which puts a stop to deformation that could have occurred while the 7/8 ounce shot column is accelerated to supersonic velocity. In addition to preserving pellet sphericity, Challenger’s cushioned wad also serves to reduce felt recoil – perfect if you want to burn through this whole case of ammo during one glorious day of target shooting.
Challenger has spent over three decades perfecting the art of measuring propellant charges, seating noncorrosive primers, extruding tough plastic tubes and fitting high-strength steel caps. Once all of those components have been expertly assembled and thoroughly inspected, Challenger's reloadable ammo is all ready for your shooting pleasure!
