“Heavy” makes this shell sound a little more threatening than it actually is. It’s just loaded with a full ounce of shot instead of the 20ga’s usual 7/8 ounces. Each shot pellet is exactly 0.095” in diameter, and the tempered lead it is made of ensures that it keeps round enough to remain part of a narrow pattern. Gualandi’s tight-patterning wad only does more to seal your quarry’s fate.
This 2-1/2 dram equivalent shell is loaded with NobelSport’s own Vectan A – a clean-burning powder which consistently propels its shot column to a muzzle velocity of 1,165 fps. These noncorrosive Italian-made shells feature reloadable hulls, so you can come back home with birds, bunnies and handloading components.
