It’s loaded with 3/4 ounces of #8.5 shot pellets, which are 0.085” in diameter and sized just right to whisk clay discs out of existence. Winchester’s own proven hard shot won’t become too flat to pattern efficiently while it’s accelerated to a velocity of 1,300 fps. The Big W’s AA wad, which collapses under pressure, succeeds at keeping the shot pellets even rounder while simultaneously softening recoil for you. An effective system!
