Details
Winchester’s Super-X line of ammunition has served a diverse range of hunters’ needs since 1922. If you’re looking for a great way to get out there and give birds heck at the end of your trusty 28 Gauge shotgun, then you could keep looking for ammo – but you’d only be wasting your time.
This is an excellent shell for all manners of small game thanks to its 1 ounce column of #7.5 shot. Hard lead. Round pellets. A cushioned wad, which gives those hard pellets the gentler push that helps keep them even rounder. A reasonably hot muzzle velocity of 1,205 fps, which produces the fast and tight cloud of shot that puts birds down in a real hurry.
Winchester’s one-piece wad is perched atop a charge of clean-burning powder, which itself surrounds a hot-sparking 209 primer. Everything’s in place to give you the powerful, high-brass performance that guarantees a KO at long range!
