There’s two kinds of people: those who love the 410 Bore shotgun, and those who haven’t tried it out yet. If you’re one of those people, then Winchester’s Super-X rifled slug loads are sure to win your full approval. And if you’ve got a Taurus Judge with 3” chambers, this ammo will serve you well (not to mention treat you to a nice dose of recoil).
This is a hunting shell, with a 1/4 ounce hollow point slug that will deliver terminal expansion to its target. The slug’s rifling allows safe compression as it passes through a choke (we’d advise against using this ammo in a rifled bore shotgun, but we aren’t aware of any rifled bore 410s). The lead slug’s striking energy at 50 yards is in the ballpark of 400 ft lbs, so we’re going to tell you what you already know: accuracy counts for a lot when you’re deer hunting with a 410 Bore. Try this ammo out on hogs, too – they’ll hate it!
