We want you to fire your AK-74 as much as you want to fire it! That’s why we’ve stocked up on this here fine steel-cased 5.45x39 ammunition, which was imported from Azerbaijan by Tela Impex. Order up a few boxes and train until you can live up to M. Sabelnikov’s highest expectations for marksmanship!
This ammo has three components of note: case, bullet and primer. A steel case is always going to be a cheaper option than a brass one. It’s not reloadable, though, and its rigidity usually leads to more fouling of the action. A bimetal-jacketed FMJ has an all-lead core, but its shell is copper-washed steel. It will attract a magnet, which makes it a big no-no at certain commercial ranges. A Berdan primer operates on a slightly different principle than a Boxer primer, but it still works just fine in all types of AK-74 rifles. This ammo’s Berdan primers are guaranteed noncorrosive.
