Why in the name of all that is holy does this 22 LR ammo have pink bullets? Has CCI been bought out by Mary Kay? No! It is CCI’s special edition Clean-22 ammo, which features pink bullets to show support for breast cancer awareness! That’s a great cause we can really get in to – especially when it means we get to go target shooting.
This round’s bullet is much more than just pink. As a polymer-coated lead round nose, it eliminates copper fouling and drastically reduces lead fouling. That means you can conserve your 22 rifle or pistol’s accuracy for longer in between cleanings. That also means you’ll inhale less nasty lead gas while you’re getting your plink on.
This high-velocity round’s 40 grain poly-coated LRN will function great in all semi-automatic and other types of firearms. If you’re firing the rifle you would need in order to witness its 1,235 fps muzzle velocity and resultant 0.130 G1 ballistic coefficient, then you can expect a velocity of approximately 998 fps at 100 yards.
