No copper plating on an LHP, although it has got the nose cavity it needs to inflict extra damage to a squirrel or other small, pest-type animal. The bullet is 10% lighter than usual, which amplifies its muzzle velocity to 1,260 fps without demanding increased chamber pressure. No copper plating on an LHP – it’s cheaper to manufacture, but it will foul your barrel a little more quickly than a CPRN or CPHP.
