Details
We have no idea whether Great Britain still produces 303 British ammunition. We’d like to think it does, even if no one in the country is allowed to own it anymore. (You can get the death penalty there simply for owning a sharpened stick.)
But you are an American, which means you should be grateful to Sellier & Bellot of the Czech Republic for producing this fine 303 British target ammunition! It is loaded with heavy 180 grain full metal jacket projectiles, making it a great pick for training whenever it’s windy out. The FMJ’s 2,477 fps muzzle velocity (23.5” test barrel) and 0.506 G1 ballistic coefficient (0.266 G7) produce around -5.0” drop at 200 yards (100-yard zero; 1.5” sight height).
Sellier & Bellot doesn’t load strange components. Their nonmagnetic FMJs are made of lead and brass. Their primers are noncorrosive, and Boxer style. Their cases are made of brass, and never fired before they are loaded in accordance with S&B’s strict standards for quality.
