Details
This is XM193 5.56x45 ammo from Federal’s American Eagle line -- what distinguishes it from the “X-free” M193 rounds used by our military is minute enough to be considered irrelevant. One of these rounds has got a 55 grain bullet, with a meticulously applied copper jacket to ensure its great accuracy. The bullet’s boat tail is another credit to its accuracy, as it lessens the turbulence created in flight to keep its trajectory nice and flat.
Federal’s brass casings are high quality and play nice with semi-automatics and bolt actions alike. They are also primo handloading components. Federal’s consistent primers and propellant do even more to promote unimpaired cycling in a semi-automatic weapon. As a nice bonus, these rounds are packaged in a steel ammo can. A sturdy handle, a tight sealing gasket, a secure bail latch -- it’s a piece of equipment that you’ll be certain to find handy decades after you’ve fired all its original contents!
