Details
Belom ammunition is manufactured in the nation of Serbia. If you are like us, you wondered if Serbian ammunition shares Russia’s steel components. But Serbia is actually 2,000 miles away from Moscow. They do their own thing there, which means this 7.62x39 ammunition is 100 percent steel-free and nonmagnetic. Perfect if you want to take your AK-47 to any range you please!
This round’s FMJ bullet features a solid lead-antimony alloy core and copper-zinc alloy jacket. It’s a target shooter’s bullet, perfect for riddling paper, but no varmints or home intruders are going to walk it off after 123 grains of solid metal hits them at supersonic velocity.
Belom’s ammunition is designed for the battlefield, so it’s extremely rugged stuff. This 7.62x39 ammo will function correctly under temperatures ranging from -65 to 125.6 °F (two temperatures you probably want nothing to do with). Belom’s brass-cased and non-corrosive Boxer-primed ammo can submerge in water without producing bubbles. It’s both reloadable and safe to store for a very long time, especially thanks to its plastic packaging.

As far as 7.62x39 is concerned within the US, the fact that Belom is brass adds a "Gucci Factor" to this ammo. Its packaged in standard 20 round count with a FAR FROM STANDARD containers! Yes the primers are sealed and so is each 20 round container. Yes it's more per round, you could get more steel for the same price, but if you like sealed packaging for longer "set and forget" storage, or you need/prefer brass then Belom should be one of your GO TO's.
Was unable to test consistency at range but within 50-100 yards you shouldn't have any issues.

I don't consider myself a marksman but these Belom rounds are pretty decent at 100 yards. On a cool barrel out of my Arsenal AK, I was getting 1 MOA on my best shots. This is using Primary Arms 3x scope from bench rest. Hardly any foul smoke from each shot unlike S&B which tends to emit smoke like a musket. I am impressed.

I purchased this ammo so I could shoot at a private range. Once purchased, I got a knot in my stomach because my AK hates brass ammo. Instead of canceling the order, I toughed it out and a few days later my order arrived.
I have to say I was surprised at the quality of the rounds and the packaging. If you are sporting an AK, you are fine if your ammo shows up in wax paper, but the hard plastic clear containers are special.
Off to the range. To my surprise, no issues. No failure to feed, no double feed, no jam of any kind that normally occur with brass case ammo. I am very happy. I think anyone getting this ammo would be happy too. (Posted on 10/7/2021)

For an AR in 7.62x39, this brass case is very reliable and feeds well. No issues. Reloadable brass - Can also be hydroformed into 6.5 Grendel ammo if you are so inclined. (Posted on 8/19/2021)
