This isn’t a high-velocity shell. At 1,125 fps, it’s actually pretty mild in the velocity department. But because it’s a true 3-1/2” magnum, it launches a total of eighteen 1/3” diameter lead balls when it goes off. That’s not just going to leave a mark. It’s going to leave … well, 18 marks, if we’re being technical!
Remington knows you want a dense pattern. That’s why they backed this shell’s shot column with heavy cushioning, and also packed it with granulated polymer buffering. Those features work hand in hand to reduce shot deformation, which in turn keeps the pellets rounder, more aerodynamic, and more capable of flying in narrow formation.
