Wow! You haven’t just found hard-to-find 22 Hornet ammo. You have also found some of the best: Remington’s very own Premier AccuTip-V! These rounds are loaded in Arkansas with accurate tipped varmint hunting bullets, and they’re sure to give any rodent or coyote a real run for its money.
The AccuTip-V features a conventional lead core and a thinner-than-usual copper jacket. Its polymer tip streamlines the bullet so it can hold a flat trajectory and punch harder downrange. If it happens to punch a critter, the AccuTip-V’s tip slams into the core’s nose cavity, at which instant it causes the bullet to violently burst into smithereens. This kills the varmint!
Expect this round to deliver around 400 ft lbs of energy to 100 yards, and exhibit -5.6” drop 100 yards downrange from a 100-yard zero (1.5” high sights). Perfect for the little survival rifle you keep stashed away in your pickup truck. If the end of the world comes while you’re driving, just pull over and go rabbit hunting.
