Winchester’s Varmint LF 22 WMR ammunition features lead-free bullets. But this round’s so good at whacking gophers, prairie dogs and chucks that you’ll want to chamber it in your favorite rodent gun wherever you roam.

Winchester recruited Hornady for this round’s 25 grain polymer tipped bullet. The NTX functions on the same principle as Hornady’s acclaimed V-MAX. It has the hyper-concentric Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket and sharp polymer tip that both assure great accuracy, and its tip is positioned in such a way that enables it to build up a lot of momentum before finally connecting with the core to unleash devastating fragmentation.

But the NTX’s core isn’t made of lead – it’s made of a special copper alloy that won’t pollute the environment. The possums, which are looking forward to eating whatever critters you leave behind, will thank you!

This ammo’s set up with the non-corrosive rimfire primers, clean-burning powder and high-quality brass you need in order to do your best shooting. Our advice: Order a few boxes!
