The great thing about a new type of handgun cartridge? No one grew up firing it, so everyone is equally new to it. If you’d like to become one of the rare few expert 30 Super Carry marksmen, then a bunch of Blazer Brass ammo is all you need for training.
This cartridge is packing a 115 grain full metal jacket. That’s not the bullet you want for self-defense, if you were given a choice, but its economical non-expanding design suits it perfectly for high-volume target shooting. Blazer’s FMJ has a flat nose profile, which is what you’re going to see on every 30 Super Carry bullet on the market, and its lack of any steel makes it nonmagnetic and compliant at all pay-to-play ranges.
This cartridge’s bullet weight and clean-burning powder let it deliver a 1,150 fps muzzle velocity out of a 4” barrel. As you may already have guessed, Blazer’s Brass label ammo is brass-cased. Get yourself some 0.312” diameter bullets and get reloading!
