This training cartridge is loaded with an identical bullet weight and muzzle velocity as Federal’s Personal Defense HST load. Its 100 grain bullet is an economical FMJ instead of an HST JHP, so you can get a good feel for your carry load’s performance without having to pay a premium for the privilege. Federal’s FMJ is a lead core with a copper shell – not a magnetic metal in the bunch.

This is new production ammo, if only because the 30 Super Carry was introduced to the market in 2022. It is loaded with a factory fresh brass cases, non-corrosive primers, and the powder charges it needs to deliver a consistent 1,250 fps muzzle velocity.
