Details
Remington keeps things simple when they load their UMC line of ammunition: Americans’ favorite calibers and specs, with the consistent quality which satisfying range training demands.
This 300 AAC Blackout round features a massive 220 grain projectile. That gives it a huge 0.689 ballistic coefficient, so there’s little cross winds can do to push it off its trajectory. That also gives this round a subsonic muzzle velocity, so it’s going to be relatively quiet when you fire it. If you’ve screwed a suppressor to the end of your barrel, this ammo is going to complement its performance perfectly.
The bullet is an open tip flat base, which is designed for superior accuracy and not terminal expansion. Its open tip indicates that the bullet’s lead core perfectly conforms to the interior contours of the jacket; its flat base provides a uniform surface for propellant gasses to exert their energy against. There’s no steel to be found in such a bullet, so don’t fret about firing this ammo at indoor ranges.
There’s no steel in this ammo’s cases, either – just virgin brass, so you can reload them. This ammo’s non-corrosive primers and clean-burning propellant minimize its impact on a rifle’s barrel and suppressor. You’ll be able to spend more time popping targets or varmints and less time cleaning!
