Are you looking for 38 Special ammunition for your revolver or lever action rifle? Do not order 38 Super. The two cartridges are extremely different from each other in spite of their similar names, and a firearm chambered for one cannot fire the other. Sorry if you already knew that, but you can just imagine how often the mix-up happens!
Now then – are you looking for 38 Super ammunition for your 38 Super handgun? Excellent! We’ve got the hard-to-find stuff in stock. These particular specimens were made by Vairog.
This is range ammo, simple and pure, with 124 grain full metal jacket projectiles. The FMJ is the lesser solution for self-defense given its inability to deliver terminal expansion within its target (which isn’t to say getting struck by an FMJ is a particularly pleasant experience). The bullet’s round nose profile and hard copper-alloy jacket will navigate your semi-auto’s feed ramp reliably. That same jacket also contains zero steel, which is why this ammo does not attract a magnet.
Vairog is renowned for the quality of their brass cases. They also utilize noncorrosive Boxer primers, which are the two elements great reloadable ammo must have!
