Newsflash – we wouldn’t want to get hit with *any* bullet. The only exception is a cool and refreshing “Silver Bullet” (or any other beer), and only after our shift at the ammo warehouse has ended.

With that said, certain bullets are far more intimidating than others. The HoneyBadger is the prime example. This 44 Special cartridge’s 125 grain bullet is made entirely out of copper. It won’t significantly deform while it penetrates barriers or flesh. It will barely fragment during penetration. For these reasons, the HoneyBadger can be trusted to penetrate deeply and function effectively.

By “function effectively,” we don’t mean expand. The HoneyBadger doesn’t do that. What it does do is engage with, pressurize, and shoot out any soft tissues it comes into contact with, and potentially at higher velocities than the bullet itself is traveling. The resulting wound cavity is enormous, and incapacitating.

Black Hills Ammunition’s South Dakota-made ammo features lead-free bullets that can be fired wherever lead-free bullets are required. Looking for a lower-recoil option for defense with your 44 Magnum revolver – or a lower-recoil option for hunting with your 44 Magnum rifle? Then look no further than Black Hills 44 Special 125 grain HoneyBadger ammo, friendo!
