Don’t lose one second of sleep wondering whether the BulkAmmo.com team knows how gravity works. We just treated ourselves to a little demonstration with the aid of a pallet of 45 ACP ammo! Fortunately the 12' tumble only damaged the boxes’ packaging and not their contents. If you’d like a great deal on self-defense ammo that’s still pretty on the inside, now is your chance!
This 45 ACP round from Speer’s Gold Dot label features a traditional 230 grain projectile. The bullet is anything but old-fashioned, though -- thanks to Speer’s proprietary Uni-Cor process, its jacket is electrochemically bonded to its alloyed lead core. The Gold Dot bullet is virtually incapable of jacket/core separation as the result, ensuring that it can retain its weight during penetration of both the target and any barriers it must conquer on its way there.
The Gold Dot bullet is carefully formed so as to enable its nose cavity to control both rate and width of terminal expansion. This round’s CCI primer, clean burning propellant, and easy-cycling nickel plated brass shell casing all work to give its owner peace of mind that their pistol will function ideally when it’s needed.
