Wolf has garnered a reputation for offering pretty reasonably priced ammunition. That’s largely due to their steel cases. They’re too rigid to be handloaded, and they’ll probably cause somewhat dirtier performance, but there’s no better way to get around having to buy brass.
The cases do have a tiny bit of brass, though. They are plated, which enhances their appearance and helps them avoid becoming the target of corrosion. On that note, this ammo’s Boxer primers are certified noncorrosive.
This ammo’s cases will attract a magnet. But if you were to pull one of its 230 grain FMJ bullets out, a magnet test would prove that it doesn’t contain steel. That’s awesome if you want to fire this ammo at any range which prohibits bimetal-jacketed projectiles!
