This round is loaded with a plain-Jane 660 grain full metal jacket: just one and a half ounces of aerodynamic metal, without any features that enable terminal expansion. Granted, so powerful a bullet doesn’t really need to expand in order to be deadly. If our assumptions about this ammo are correct, and its G1 BC out of a 36” barrel is ~0.700, then it ought to land on 500 yards with just shy of 8,000 ft lbs of energy. That’s like … 7 billion times more powerful than a 25 ACP, approximately!

This ammo is loaded with “HyperClean Technology” propellant, noncorrosive 50 BMG primers (obviously), and cases which are very much brand new despite the appearance of their freshly annealed necks and shoulders.
