Details
“Belom” is essentially the brand name that the Serbian government puts on its own factory ammo. (It does have a nicer ring to it than “Serbian Government Ammo.”) And the Serbs just so happen to make excellent ammo, which is why we believe you’ll be very satisfied with this Belom 9mm!
This cartridge is loaded with a 124 grain FMJ. It’s a round nose specimen, with a lead alloy core and a copper alloy jacket that will not attract a magnet. The round nose FMJ is going to deliver good accuracy, but nothing special in terms of terminal ballistics. Keep 9mm like this on the range unless you have no better alternative for personal protection.
Belom tests this ammo out in a variety of firearms over a wide range of temperatures: -65.2, 70 and 129.2 °F, and all of those firearms operate without casualty. This ammo also passes the bubbles test for waterproofing, so it’s up for a little exposure to the elements without breaking down. These rounds have reloadable brass cases and non-corrosive Boxer primers, just like you’d want for handloading.
