Igman d.d. Konjic of Bosnia and Herzegovina isn’t just invested in producing high-quality ammunition for their own military’s sake. They also export their fine ammo to all over the world, making them a key part of their small nation’s economic well-being.
This 9mm ammo is a no-brainer for target shooting with any handgun, regardless of the company that made it. Its 124 grain bullet possesses a solid lead core which is made harder by additional antimony, as well as a tough copper alloy jacket to ensure reliable feeding and reduced barrel fouling. The FMJ’s round nose is at once easier for a semi-auto to feed and more aerodynamic, but without a nose cavity it is incapable of unleashing the terminal expansion you would want for self-defense applications.
Need reloading components? Igman’s factory fresh Boxer-pocketed brass cases are easy to handload once they’ve been emptied out. Igman’s non-corrosive primers and single base smokeless propellant both cut down on fouling to promote better accuracy in between cleanings.
