Q: In regards to ammo cans, plastic or steel. Is it better to store your ammo within the magtech box, for instance. Or can you simply empty the cases and fill the cans up with the bullets? I’m sure there is a preference and a reason behind it. Any feedback would be appreciated.

A: Thanks for reaching out Jon! As far as preservation of the ammo goes, there is zero difference between placing packaged ammo inside an ammo can vs. placing loose rounds inside an ammo can. The only protection a cardboard box can offer is protection against light, which an ammo can will do just as effectively. But if you store loose rounds inside an ammo can, you are going to be able to fit significantly more inside. That's it, really!
