Many shooters already recognize Speer Gold Dot as the gold standard for defensive pistol ammunition. But what if you want that same outstanding performance in your carbine as well? Then you don’t have a problem, because Speer Gold Dot Carbine is right here and ready for your PCC.

This cartridge is loaded with a 135 grain bullet, which generates optimal pressure to operate the carbine platform as it accelerates to a muzzle velocity of 1,170 fps. At that rate, the projectile is due to hit 50 yards with almost 100 ft lbs more kinetic energy than the average minimum recommended for defense.

This round’s bullet is the G2. Its nose profile is specially contoured to ensure the most reliable feeding into a carbine’s chamber. Its jacket is electrochemically bonded to its alloyed lead core, which gives it the durability requisite to penetrate a barrier without shedding even 1 grain of its weight. Uniquely, the G2 jacketed hollow point carries a small quantity of elastomer in its nose cavity. It prevents the JHP from jamming up with debris. It also promotes more uniform expansion, better petal separation, and overall higher trauma to the target as impact drives the elastomer into the core’s engineered internal fissures.

This ammo is loaded in Idaho with brand new nickel-plated brass cases. Nickel offers multiple benefits. It wards off tarnishing. It reduces friction so a semi-automatic can function more reliably. It is also shinier, and therefore easier to see in the chamber in low lighting.
