50 Rounds of 9mm +P Ammo by Remington Golden Saber Bonded - 124gr BJHP

As a full time Police Officer and part owner of a weapons training facility I have unique opportunities to test ammunition products, I also have real world experiences to draw upon when choosing my ammunition. I like to share these results with good citizens who want to protect themselves from scumbag criminals when I'm allowed to. Luckily in this case I can.

This ammunition Chronographed at 1180 FPS out of my Glock 19 which is my off duty carry gun and it had a Standard Deviation so small no one should care, it's consistent. I got a 1.8 Times Expansion Ratio average into 10% ballistic gel and a weight retention of well over 90 % for all mediums using my test which mimics the FBI Protocol minus the sheet metal. I add in steel doors for the home invasion scenario etc.... Beside the steel doors, one can expect about 15 inches of average penetration which is more than enough given proper shot placement.

I can't see through sheet metal so I don't use it in testing but I have shot through enough auto glass windshields with this to be 100% comfortable with it regarding vehicle usage scenarios should one unfortunately occur.

The accuracy with this ammunition was as expected, better than 95% of what any of the students I have trained can achieve in SHTF scenarios under stress. My Glock prefers 124 grains for printing one hole groups at 5-7 yards. I don't have a ransom rest 50 yard group to present and never will as I just don't care, that's not combat shooting anyway, it's more than accurate enough to get the job done Period

I can choose any round on the market I want for personal defense and frankly I've passed on some that are not on the civilian market, I can buy it through LE channels most cannot, but the rounds in my wife and daughters magazines are Rem GS Bonded +P 124 Grains. What more endorsement can I give?

Yes, I placed this at a 5 star bargain. It's expensive and I know this but Remington as far as I know doesn't sell bonded ammo to civilian outlets, I don't know how they got it and don't care.

If your wife or daughter had to shoot a home invader or scum bag would you question what the cost of the ammo was? Heck no as they will practice will ball rounds anyway.
