Now’s your chance to stock up on Czech manufacturer Sellier & Bellot’s military surplus 308 Win ammunition! These ball cartridges were produced during the 1970s for G3 and FAL rifles. Importantly, their military-grade primers require a heavier hammer spring than your average civilian AR-10 or 308 hunting rifle might have. Please make sure your hammer spring is able to manage military primers before firing this ammo!
These rounds’ primers are also corrosive. They’re not going to dissolve your rifle while it’s still in your hands, but they will cause rust to form throughout your rifle unless you follow special steps while cleaning. Windex, Ballistol and hot soapy water are all valid options.
These loose-packed cartridges are loaded with simple 147 grain FMJ projectiles that should feed and fire smoothly in any type of rifle. We have not determined the bullet’s muzzle velocity or tested it for magnetic steel. We have also not ascertained whether this ammo is Boxer or Berdan primed.
