This ammo will not work in 30 TC, 30 SC, 30 Nosler, or 30-30 firearms. It’s 30 Carbine – a cartridge developed for the M1 carbine that support troops carried instead of the heavy M1 Garand during WWII. If you have an original M1 carbine that you’d like to dust off – or a more modern .30 Car firearm – then it’s going love Winchester USA series ammunition!
No surprises in store here. This ammo is produced in strict accordance with M1 ball specifications: 110 grain full metal jacket projectile, 1,990 fps muzzle velocity (18” bbl). Winchester’s handgun bullets are universally nonmagnetic, so you’ll have zero issues if you fire this ammo’s lead-core, copper-jacket FMJs at a range which forbids magnetic ammo.
These aren’t military surplus cartridges that have been chilling in a warehouse for umpteen decades. They’re brand new – fresh as moneky’s breath – and they have the noncorrosive Boxer primers and shiny reloadable brass cases to prove it.
