This 300 AAC Blackout ammo by Black Hills is loaded with Dual Performance projectiles. It serves a dual purpose: self preservation, and hog hunting.

The Dual Performance is a precision machined solid copper hollow point. Its nose profile is both smooth-feeding and ballistically efficient. Its sleek shank helps it to overcome frontal air resistance and transfer greater energy to its target on impact. Its lead-free design suits the Dual Performance for hunting on protected lands, promotes a cleaner barrel, and also eliminates contamination of meat.

Copper possesses superior malleability and ductility – two properties which prevent the Dual Performance from fragmenting, shedding weight, and losing the momentum requisite for effective penetration of soft tissue. The Dual Performance actually takes its name from its two-stage terminal ballistics. First it widens out to establish a broad semi-permanent wound cavity; then it erects multiple razor-sharp petals which devastate any soft tissues they rake against.
