Details
This 38 S&W cartridge is from Remington’s Performance WheelGun label, which specializes in making -- you guessed it -- revolver ammo! It’s loaded with a 146 grain lead round nose projectile. Most current 38 S&W rounds sport 145 grain bullets. Will you notice those extra two thousandths of an ounce while you’re shooting? Unless you’ve replaced your arm with a piece of lab equipment, most assuredly not.
This round’s traditional bullet delivers reliable and accurate ballistic performance. It lacks any copper that could conceivably ricochet back at you if you hit a steel target or stony backdrop. Remington’s expert loading processes have given each cartridge in this case consistent propellant charges, and the old company’s Kleanbore primer does an exceptional job of preserving an antique or new production revolver. These rounds’ brass casings are the stuff of satisfying reloading projects. Eject them into a box once you’ve fired all six!
