Details
As nice as it would be to get ammo with actual gold jacketed bullets for this price, a Golden Saber projectile’s jacket is actually made of brass. Test this 380 ACP cartridge out and you’ll see that brass creates tremendous value too, however -- it makes for an exceptionally tough bullet that’s able to retain the virtual entirety of its weight so it can penetrate deeply. The rim of the bullet’s nose cavity wears spiral cuts that ensure proper expansion, even at lower velocities. That’s exactly what you’d like to see from a “big little” caliber like the 380 ACP which you’ll likely fire from a shorter barreled handgun.
This round is made to work. Its new casing is plated with nickel for corrosion resistance and less friction during cycling in a semi-automatic. Its low flash propellant will both shroud your position and protect your vision if you have to open fire in the dark. Its primer and mouth are both waterproofed as well. All in all an intensely dependable round for your pocket or purse pistol, and with a whole case in your possession you’ll have the opportunity to train with it as well!
