This 45 Auto ammo hails from the same factory that Tulammo products come from. In true Russian fashion, it is loaded with bi-metal jacketed FMJ projectiles. Each 230 grain bullet possesses a solid lead core and a soft steel jacket, the latter of which which is copper washed for enhanced cosmetics. Like all FMJs, the bullet will not expand as it penetrates soft tissue. But because it has a bi-metal jacket, this bullet will attract a magnet. This new production and non-corrosive ammunition is decked out with solid steel cases. They make the ammo appreciably more affordable than brass, but steel cases are absolutely useless as far as handloaders are concerned. Leave empty steel cases on the ground where they belong!
