Good marksmanship. You can’t claim to have it without good skill – but a good rifle and good ammo are both certainly part of the equation as well. If you’re doing all you can to keep your shots squarely inside of the bullseye, then you can consider this 5.56x45 ammo by Black Hills your new go-to materiel.
This cartridge is adorned with Sierra’s 77 grain .22 cal Tipped MatchKing. You’re going to want a barrel twist of 1:6”, 1:7” or 1:8” if you want to stabilize such a massive projectile, but the reward is outstanding resistance to wind drift. The TMK’s concentric jacket and balanced lead core help to promote better stability. Its optimized jacket profile and sharp, perfectly centered polymer tip both help it stir up as little drag as possible. But do take care: despite what its appearance suggests, the TMK is not designed nor intended for defensive or hunting applications. This ammo is meant for inanimate objects!
Black Hills’ match primers, reloadable brass cases and meticulously standardized propellant charges are all worthy of backing an industry-leading long-distance bullet. Order the whole case and you’ll be zero in on a flyspeck. Made in The Mount Rushmore State!
