Federal Premium American Eagle 5.56x45 ammunition is military grade and specially made for your target shooting pleasure. Order yourself a 500-round case to keep by just in case, or fire it all during one grand day at the rifle range!
This cartridge’s XM193 designation makes it sound more sophisticated than it actually is. As an M193 spec round, it is loaded with a non-expanding and nonmagnetic 55 grain full metal jacket boat tail projectile. M193 ammo is made for the U.S. government. XM193 ammunition has all the same features. It is just made for the commercial market instead.
This round’s FMJBT clears muzzle at a rate of 3,165 feet per second. The bullet’s 0.246 G1 ballistic coefficient means it will rise 2.3” above muzzle en route to a 200-yard zero; at 300 yards, you’re looking at about -8.3” drop.
No American Eagle cartridge leaves the factory without its reloadable brass case and noncorrosive Boxer primer. This ammo is loaded with new brass cases; the cases’ necks are darker in color because they weren’t polished following heat treatment.
