This cartridge’s 55 grain FMJBT projectile features a solid lead core and gilding metal jacket – no steel, nonmagnetic, compliant with all ranges’ guidelines. The bullet stays firmly rooted in the case mouth courtesy of its jacket’s cannelure, and its boat tail actively reduces drag in flight.

The FMJBT hits a muzzle velocity of 3,240 fps once it clears a 24” barrel. Its resultant 0.243 G1 ballistic coefficient means that it will dash past the 500-yard line at a velocity of 1,540 fps. All of this is to say that this ammo’s performance is analogous to the military’s M193 load!
