The Brown Bear ammo is a steel cased 7.62x39 load with a lacquered case and a hollow point projectile in 123 grains, the classic weight of this AK cartridge. This ammunition is functional in all the AK style clones and generally all of the aftermarket platforms or conversion kits for other weapons platforms. It is simply a workhorse ammunition that has been proven time as again by shooters everywhere.

With the steel casing and Berdan priming it is not particularly well suited to reloading so save your time picking up the casings when you’re at the range. Velocity is at 2400 (or just under 2390) and the muzzle energy is 1560 Ft. Lbs. of energy making this a potent choice for moderate and large game hunting.
