Details
ZSR is on a mission to advance the defense industry of their home country of Turkey. Part of that effort includes producing lots and lots of 7.62x51 M80 ammunition. No doubt ZSR would stop exporting this affordable range ammo if Turkey went to war – but for now, they’re content to ship their goods to cool Americans like us.
This cartridge is loaded with a 147 grain full metal jacket bullet, per M80 specs. We haven’t yet chronographed this ammo, so we can’t guarantee its muzzle velocity, but it’s reasonable to expect a 2,800 fps muzzle velocity out of a 22” barrel. The bullet is your standard non-expanding military-grade FMJ, with a copper alloy jacket and lead core. Need nonmagnetic ammo? Here it is!
ZSR’s new production brass-cased ammo offers cleaner performance than any steel-cased alternative from up north, and it is also loaded with non-corrosive Boxer primers. Treat yourself and your FAL to a proper range day!
