Details

Shooters in the know see Winchester’s white box and recognize at once that it’s full of dependable ammo that won’t cost them too much. Winchester’s been in the business of making fine ammunition since 1873 (the same year that Jesse James pulled off the first Western train robbery, coincidentally), and in that tradition they offer this 9mm ammo so that target shooters, plinkers, and students alike can have just what they need to perfect their skills with a pistol.

This round’s bullet weighs 115 grains. That’s lightweight for its caliber, and accordingly generates modest recoil before breaking the sound barrier out of the muzzle. With its full metal jacket the bullet is far more appropriate for training and recreational target shooting than it is personal protection. Still, you’d rather have such a bullet than no bullet at all during a crisis. Winchester’s brass casings are fresh out of their factory and prime for reloading, and their explosive components spark to life without leaving behind corrosive residues.
