Some like it hot. If you’re one of them, then you’ll love this 9mm NATO ammunition by Winchester. Loaded in accordance with North Atlantic Treaty Organization specifications, its 1,200 fps muzzle velocity is faster than what the standard 124 grain 9mm load typically delivers.
This cartridge’s bullet is nothing more than sophisticated than a full metal jacket, with the nonmagnetic copper alloy jacket and dense lead core it needs to provide reliable functionality and accuracy.
The bullet’s higher muzzle velocity produces a flatter trajectory, but it comes at the expense of more powerful recoil (though you may not personally note a difference). More importantly, a 9mm NATO cartridge produces higher chamber pressure than a standard pressure load. As such it is essential only to fire this ammunition in pistols or carbines that are rated for 9mm +P.
This factory fresh, non-corrosive, brass-cased and reloadable ammo makes a swell pick for training if you favor 9mm +P for self-defense and would like comparable performance at the range.
