Details
You love your fellow man, and would do anything in your power to aid him. But you also won’t tolerate violence when it’s directed at yourself or your own. That’s why you keep a 12 Gauge shotgun ready.
Fiocchi loads this Missouri-made 12 Gauge ammunition for home defense. Each shell is packed with nine pieces of #1 buckshot, which are slightly smaller and slightly lighter than the 00 buck most self-defense shells are loaded with. In addition to having a shot column that weighs about 1/4 ounces lighter, this shell has an only just barely supersonic muzzle velocity of 1,150 fps. Those features both contribute to the shell’s truly low recoil performance, so you can anticipate less of the muzzle flip which throws your aim off target after each time you fire a shot. Low recoil ammo like this is also just the ticket for training younger marksmen!
We estimate that this shell’s dram equivalent is 2-1/2. That is extremely important if you have a semi-automatic, as this ammo’s chamber pressure may be too low to reliably operate a self-loading shotgun.

Q: I can't really read the label on the picture. How many pellets per shell?

A: Nine pellets, sir! (There's actually a misprint on the field box's label, which says "9 OZ")
