- 800 Rounds of .22 LR Ammo by Federal Champion - 40gr LRN
Details
How’s it going, champ? Need a brick of 22 LR to keep your barrel hot and your aim keen? Then we’ve got the perfect ammo for you – Federal Champion, made by Minnesotans so you can plink, puncture targets, and pop squirrels like a boss.
This is ammo is real versatile thanks to its lead round nose bullet. It’s an economical 22 LR projectile design due to its absence of copper plating, but the streamlined little solid lead bolt flies flat and hits hard to take care of the job at hand. No terminal expansion to speak of, but a round nose profile bullet that reaches 50 yards with more than 100 ft lbs of energy to spare is capable of knocking any rodent or bird out of a tree. And Federal’s LRN functions reliably in any kind of firearm, semi-autos included!
Federal’s one of the big names in rimfire ammo, synonymous with uniform brass cases, primers and propellant. Nothing about this cartridge qualifies as magnetic or corrosive, so it’s safe to take to any range and clean your firearm normally afterward.

Got it on sale which was the best part. I have constant issues with misfires and cycling especially on my M&P 15-22 22LR and S&W M41. I'm going to use it all in my Ruger Single Six but won't probably buy it again. Never had any issues with CCI but of course these are much more expensive. (Posted on 10/8/2022)

Fired about 120 rounds through two different revolvers and hit the targets. All good. An acceptable price all things considered. Speed of delivery of my order was exceptional - ordered one day and got it two days later, and that was the week before Christmas.
Also ordered another caliber of ammo a week prior and had the same delivery experience. (Posted on 1/10/2022)

Most of my 22 lr ammo was rather old (50 years) & a few rounds would not fire or eject so I bought this new ammo to get around that & to better sight in my rifles. Surprise to me that this new ammo failed (fail to fire, fail to eject, etc) way more than the 50 yo ammo w/ my fairly new Ruger 10/22. Additionally I could not get consistent bench rest groups with a mag scope! I'd get the rifle dialed @ 50 yds in then suddenly a round would go in the 8 ring then the next round would go back to center. (Posted on 12/28/2021)

Use 400 rounds in my GSG 1911. 8 FTE/FTF's and 7 duds (which fired after reloading). so 2% failure rate (not counting the duds), which is pretty good for a brand new gun and bulk ammo. (Posted on 9/14/2021)

Q: I’m like the other people my is the 22 lr bullets so high.??
Posted On: 3/27/2022 By: William Thomas
A: Hi William. Thanks for reaching out. We have seen the prices on rimfire ammo drop slowly but surely over the past year or so. The manufacturers are getting caught up with the market and, when possible, increasing their output, which is good news. Anytime centerfire ammo gets expensive, the shooting public always leans heavily into the rimfire firearms to same money. This has, and is still keeping the price high. At BulkAmmo.com we price our products according the cost WE have to pay to get the stock, so we are always pleased when that cost allows us to drop our prices! Give me a shout if you have any further questions. --Ronnie
Q: Does the 800 round "Range Pack" mean the ammo is just loosely poured into the box or are they packed in smaller boxes of 50 or 100 rounds inside?
Posted On: 3/19/2022 By: Chris Greenman
A: Thanks for reaching out Chris! In this case "Range Pack" does in fact mean loose-packed. If you open this box and look inside, all 800 rounds will be looking right back at you.
Q: What is the lot number of this Federal 800 rd .22LR? Is it #714 or #729?
Posted On: 3/17/2022 By: Greg Schweigert
A: My apologies sir, but I have no way of promising which lot number you would receive if you order this ammo. We regularly receive new shipments of this ammo to our warehouse and it may theoretically be from any combination of lots.
