Did you know that Benjamin Franklin wanted our national bird to be the turkey? It’s too bad we went with the bald eagle, or else Turkish manufacturer ZSR’s 5.56x45 M193 ammunition would have been downright patriotic!
Doesn’t matter if your rifle was made in Turkey, the U.S. or Atlantis. So long as it’s designed to fire 5.56, then it should chug along with ZSR’s ammo just fine. This M193 spec ammo is fine for every style of target shooting, and is acceptable for use at all indoor ranges thanks to its steel-free full metal jacket projectiles. The FMJ’s terminal ballistics aren’t considered optimal for home defense owing to its inability to expand, but that is in no way shape or form an indication that this ammo couldn’t quickly neutralize a threat.
Steel cases? Corrosive primers? Not in ZSR’s house. These rounds are virgin brass and noncorrosive Boxer-primed all the way, so look forward to the clean, rust-free performance Benjamin Franklin probably would have wanted you to have.
