Details
This 12 Gauge shell from RIO Ammunition’s Royal line is loaded with nine 00 buckshot pellets. Probably the best known of all shotgun pellets, these .33” diameter balls are superb for taking down larger game like deer, elk, and caribou from a range of about 50 yards. 00 buckshot’s ability to penetrate light brush makes it a good choice for hunting in scrubby vegetation that might baffle a rifle bullet, so it’s a great choice to take into the woods.
This low recoil shell is also great for home defense, where its penetration and stopping power are certain to take down a human-sized target -- connect with all nine pellets and all you’ll have to do next is call an ambulance for said unfortunate human-sized target.
RIO Ammunition is based in Spain, but they have an office in Marshall, TX from which they oversee their American distribution. The ambitious company is committed to continuous research and development as part of their mission to become the largest shotshell supplier in the world.
